Terms of service

These terms are between BlazonShots Ltd ("we") and the business that signs up ("you"). Last updated 22 October 2026.

1. The service

Rosta is software for HR and payroll: employee records, pay runs and payslips, statutory schedules and remittance tracking, leave, attendance, loans, expenses and related features, on the web and in mobile apps. Features depend on your plan.

2. Your account

• You must give accurate details and keep sign-ins secure. You are responsible for what people you give access to do.
• Resellers may give their clients access under the reseller's own brand and prices. The reseller is responsible to its clients; these terms are with the reseller.

3. Payroll and tax are your responsibility

Rosta calculates pay, PAYE, pension, NHF, NSITF and ITF from the information you enter and the rules we publish. You remain responsible for checking every pay run before approving it, for the accuracy of employee data, and for filing and paying taxes and contributions on time. We do not give tax, legal or accounting advice; ask a qualified adviser.

4. Free trial, fees and payment

• New accounts get a free trial. Choose a plan before it ends to keep making changes; after a short grace period an account without a plan becomes read-only.
• Fees are as shown on your billing page when you subscribe. Per-employee plans charge for each active employee in a month: anyone included in an approved pay run that month or who signed in that month. Own-platform plans charge a fixed monthly fee, plus a per-employee charge above the staff it includes.
• Invoices are issued on the 1st of each month for the month before (yearly own-platform fees are invoiced in advance), with VAT where it applies. You can pay by card, bank transfer or USSD; if you save a card, later invoices are charged to it.
• If an invoice is unpaid 14 days after it is due, the account becomes read-only until it is paid. Your data is not deleted for non-payment.
• We will give at least 30 days' notice of a price change for your plan.

5. Your data

You own the data you put into Rosta. You are the data controller for your employees' personal data under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, and we process it on your behalf, only to provide the service, as described in our privacy notice and data processing terms. We keep payroll and tax records for as long as the law requires.

6. Ending the service

You can cancel at any time from the billing page; the subscription ends at the end of that month and the account becomes read-only, so you can still export your data. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or the law, and will tell you why and how to appeal.

7. Availability and liability

We work to keep Rosta available and secure but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid in that period, and we are not liable for indirect losses.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction.
